I was on the floor for about 7 hours trying to reduce personnel costs by 1.6% and every proposal was killed except for the cut to the Ag Dept.  I’ll have more later, but here’s the Denver Post news story:

Today we voted on 10 bills that involved sales tax exemptions or new sales taxes.
